Survey Reveals Persistent Challenges in Supplier Relationships
Supplier relationships remain strained due to a disconnect between suppliers’ needs and what buying organizations perceive those needs to be. Despite this, more organizations across various industries are starting to recognize the importance of providing a best-in-class supplier experience as a key differentiator.
Our latest survey gathered insights from 1,000 suppliers serving enterprise customers in the CPG, FMCG, Aerospace and Defense, and Energy sectors. We aimed to understand their experiences and identify their primary concerns and obstacles when working with some of the world’s largest organizations.
“We found that supplier experience is still a problem,” says Costas Xyloyiannis, HICX’s CEO. “Currently, 59% of suppliers report difficulties in delivering their best for major customers, only a slight improvement from 61% in our previous study. This negligible progress is concerning. With supply chain resilience being crucial to business success in today’s economy, it’s imperative that this figure decreases.”
